Following his return from the Atlantic round trip on his Ovni 385 S/Y “Zaria”, Kenneth Patterson will speak about experiences gained and lessons learned on his Atlantic circuit, mostly single-handed. This will cover boat preparation, technical issues, weather and wind patterns, single-handed boat handling, tourism and sailing in west Africa, Cape Verde, Suriname and eastern Caribbean

islands (Grenada, Mustique, Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique and Montserrat), returning via the Azores, south-eastern Ireland, Wales and Cornwall.
He will also cover his preparatory trip to the Western Antarctic peninsula, as crew on S/Y “Paradise” from Ushuaia, across the Drake passage to the Gerlache Strait, Paradise Bay and nearby regions.
