20/04/2018 BlueOne's first sailing of the season! On 17 April 2018, after a long winter of preparation, our yacht BlueOne was relaunched and then sailed from Wemeldinge to her new home: Colijnsplaat marina, a location which offers an even better starting point for sailing outings in the Oosterschelde and beyond. This first day under sail in perfect wind conditions also marked the end of the comprehensive maintenance work carried out by CNCE volunteers and professional technicians (visit our maintenance photo gallery). BlueOne is now equipped with a brand new B&G system with a chart plotter in the cockpit, a new VHF system and an AIS through which the boat can see and be seen by other vessels at all times during navigation. A big thank you to Massimo, who coordinated the works, and to all CNCE members who helped to get the boat ready! The collective effort amounts to 100s of hours of planning and work. We invite all members to make full use of BlueOne and enjoy the season by joining our activities!
